In houses, after separations, mothers were made of tears. Sons turned into empty glasses. And lullabies became a curse. The film examines the suffering and resilience of the Burmese people, drawing on distinctive political elements that have drifted on the surface of the political opera born from repeated military dictatorships in Myanmar.
