The Director
Ananth Subramaniam is a Malaysian director whose multilayered genre films explore ancestral Tamil identity and family ties. In 2025, his short film Bleat! was the first short selected at Cannes, where it premiered at Critics' Week. His previous short, Liar Land, received a Special Mention at the Locarno Film Festival.

The Director
Khozy Rizal (born 1995) is an Indonesian filmmaker. He made his directorial debut with the short film Makassar Is a City for Football Fans in 2021, which received the Special Jury Prize at the 2021 Indonesian Film Festival. His 2023 short film Basri & Salma in a Never-Ending Comedy became the first Indonesian short film to compete for the Short Film Palme d'Or.

He was born with an extraordinary ability: to detach and reattach his body parts at will. Throughout his life, he generously shared this unique gift with those he loved. But upon his death, only a solitary torso topped by a faceless head remained. His mother then embarks on a troubling quest to find the fragments of her son, seeking to repair not only his body but also the bond that once united them.

Rein Maychaelson is an Indonesian film director and screenwriter. He directed many short films such as Udin Telekomsel (2015), A Dinner with Astronaut (2016), and Errorist of Seasons (2017). His films are already recognized in more than 25 national and international film festivals.

Chheangkea is a Cambodian-American filmmaker based in Brooklyn. Named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film in 2025, his short film GRANDMA NAI WHO PLAYED FAVORITES premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Jury Award for International Fiction.
